Tootsie Tuesday
Tootsie is an avid reader, but she has a prerequisite, it must be about all things small or feet. She is currently reading a book about birds, but when she got to the hawk and owl chapters she became quite disturbed. She much preferred learning about the hummingbirds and chickadees.

'The Borrowers' ?
The Redwall series of books by Brian Jacques.. they're wonderful books, all about animals and 'wee' creatures. I used to read them aloud with my sons. I think Tootsie would love them.. Strong female characters too.

I think Tootsie needs to get over her fear of birds of prey. I suggest the wonderful "Owls Do Cry" by Janet Frame
