SQUEAKY WHEELS
Things have been kinda slow here at TY&B as of late. Simon is plum out of ideas, the little slacker, and Mr. YNB couldn't care less, so the entire creative load has been on me, YNB. Not good. The wheels have been turning but they're kinda squeaky lately (must need some repair work) so the output has been minimal to say the least. Numbers are down, something's gotta give, but until then the Eyeglass Contest will have to keep things afloat for the most part. But, even with that, there's one wee problem. Duncanr is pissed off about not receiving any votes, so he might just decide to pack his bags and leave TY&B to find a more loving and appreciative lot. If he goes, he'll probably take Nobbly along with him under pressure since they're pretty tight. Someone please show him some love and tic his name on one of the ballots to let him know we aren't a cruel and heartless bunch (I think "b*stards" is the word he used).

well here's your problem, you're trying to post something like every day. what the crap are you trying to be- superwoman? and show me up? or both?
BD...I wouldn't go as far as saying "Superwoman" for 5 posts a week! (I don't work weekends) Occasionally, a second post in one day might slip in due to some hot topic that hit the news. And no way could I show you up girl!! I might just take your suggestion though and cut back a bit until some major inspiration knocks me on the head, or Simon gets out of his funk and starts earning his keep around here again. ;-)

actually i ws going to say something yesterday in a comment but ha forgotten (my mind wanders...oh! a butterfly!..) but back to my comment, i happen to think the ideas you come up with are great. that sunglasses idea was fantastic and i like the "interactive-ness" of your blog is refreshing. next time we will all promote people from our sites to enter the contests,etc.. this way more people willknow about it. i havent seent he results yet, don't know who got what..duncan, we love you and don't want you to leave. plus if youtake nobblysan, we will have lost two very funny people. you want me to cry? i will cry right here right now!
i would have voted for duncan, but his concept was so brilliant, i figured everyone else would vote for him, and i didn't want everyone else to be insulted when the vote resulted in a shutout.
And lovely droplets they are!
