WEEKDAY "WHAT IF?"

WHAT IF......you could go back to one specific year in your life to experience it again? Which year would it be?

I have two (I couldn't decide which was #1). My first year at college and my first year after college when I moved to Atlanta. Both were filled with change, meeting new people, experiencing new things and being on my own.

Hmm, I have no idea. I loved the year I graduated from college, though, I wen't to England by myself and footed it around for a few weeks before starting my first real job. Maybe that would be a good year to go back to.

I'll go back to like age 11 or something... when everything was simple and fun. And I had summer vacation.

summer vacation....those were the days, huh! But, then again I could consider the entire year a vacation now since I only work for my hubby. ;-)
Although, it's still not like the old summer breaks.

HPG - I just reread these comments and realized I never responded to yours. My apologies. That was VERY brave of you to go overseas all by yourself and tour around like that!! Very admirable! Where did you go? Hopefully you'll come back here to read again!

I went to Bath with a friend of mine (or he was a friend in college, but it didn't feel so much the same when I went to England...) for a Jazz festival. Then I took off to the Midlands, I spent a couple of days in ... sheesh I need a map now.. I can see it in my mind but can't tell you the name...Bristol. Made my way up toward Scotland, stopped off in Nottingham before I reached Hadrian's Wall, then over to Aran Island and back down toward London. I've also been to Manchester a few times (but for work).

And, as the other comment said, I spent a day in the Lake District.

Sounds like you got a pretty good taste of the UK! So far, I've only been to Manchester, Yorkshire, the Lake District and southern Scotland as far as Edinburgh.

Yeah, I feel very comfortable there. Do you, having a British husband?

Yes, my hubby is from North Yorkshire, England.
