WHAT IF.....you were able to pick up and move anywhere in the world. Where would you move to?

yorksnbeans, I like these questions! If I could move anywhere... it's a tough question in some ways, but the truth is I think I could live most anywhere and be OK. It would initially be easier to live in an English speaking country, since that's my native tongue. It hurts your brain to spend a lot of time in a country where you have to struggle to understand. But even that gets better with time.
So, purely based on the look of the countryside and the things you can do with your time, I'd say... Switzerland, Norway or Sweden. Mostly because my husband and I love to ski/board and we also love to hike and camp in the mountains.
I'm glad you are enjoying them HPG! I am, too. When I think of a question, I don't necessarily have an answer either, so it makes me think and do some introspection. I was actually pondering this one and think I decided on one of the Greek Islands. I've never been there, but it's somewhere I've always wanted to visit. Every time I see a movie or a photo, it just looks so beautiful and laid back. Also the proximity of all the other countries! So much to see!
Get a little skiing in, then some sun-bathing! Sounds great! Only I'm not fond of greek food, so I'd probably bring some of the herring from my northern countries along...
North Yorkshire, England, the rural part of course. I even have the house picked out!!! Although, I do love where I live now in the US, and all the big toys I have.
My hubby used to live there! And he was rooting for them against all of my family (Go Heels!) He's always the odd guy out in my fam! We're from NC! All three of my bros went to Chapel Hill and I went to UNC-Greensboro :)
