Goodness, that mother and child were certainly blessed!

I’m no expert in video analysis, but to my eye the pram appears to accelerate. That must mean the platform slopes towards the track. A distracted mum lets go and the pram is moving away faster all the time.

I’m not trying to defend or accuse anyone, I’m just thankful to hear a happy ending for once. At least the kid’s fully trained now.

Wow...for once I'm speechless.

Miracle indeed...

i'm just wondering why the platform is slanted. you'd think that it would be flat. i still can't figure out how the baby survived, but i'm glad he did, for his sake, his mother's sake, and the sake of the train's engineer.

I watched this on the news last night - horrifying isn't it?

(Still laughing at Andy's comment... trained... hahaha)

When I saw this on CNN my heart dropped. I was so shocked.

This must be God at work. I'm glad it was recorded for that child to see when he/she gets older.

This must be god at work....?

...and if the poor kid had been squashed flat; would that have been the same omnipresent, omnipotent god at work, but showing his (or her, or its) wry sense of humour?

If you watch the longer video you can see how windy it was. The mother just paused to pull up her pants. Despite Oprah trying to get first dibs on an interview the family have declined as they are still traumatized.
