AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!! That is a North American Beetle Bug. Highly Dangerous. It causes sweats and fever and many times extreme flatulance. You may be sorry that he picked that up.
well, it almost looks like a White-marked Tussock Moth. See this one in Ocmulgee River area, Houston County, GA. http://www.giffbeaton.com/caterpillars.htm about 3/4 of the way down on the page.
hey yorks, i love the new format and the header. very nice!
YOU GOT IT!!!! Thank you Lynn!! That is definitely the caterpillar. You should take a look at the moth...ugh. Just a typical boring gray moth. So much more beautiful as a caterpillar!
Thanks for the compliment about the layout. I've been looking for something that would work in the pre-formatted layout. I haven't checked my laptop yet, but I think this should be okay. By your comment, I guess it looks good at your end.
Nice close-up of the Mister's hand. Glad he was willing to help out. love the beans. I've wondered what kind of yorks and beans you referred to, now i'm even more uncertain.
I'm glad everyone is enjoying the new banner. And, yes, it might seem confusing to have 3 beans in it, since really there should only be one (and that is moi - Bean is my nickname). The problem arises from the fact that I, the Bean, am not talented enough on the computer to design a graphic of 2 Yorks and 1 Bean that would be aesthetically pleasing to everyone's eyes, set within the pre-set parameters of the Blogger banner. So ya'll will have to deal with it, okay! BTW the other two yorks (who are somewhat miffed at the Bean since they obviously are not represented in the new banner image) are my little Yorkie pup, Simon, and Mr. YnB, a Yorkshireman.

Are you sure that thing won't kill you? Sure looks like a caterkiller to me. :)
In person it really is quite pretty. It's those bumps on it's back that makes it kind of creepy looking.
