  11. Girls could only wear dresses to school, so during the winter in PA we had to wear snow pants under our dresses at the bus stop. Then we had to take them off when we got to school.

  13. yeah these kids live in my neighborhood and hide shit in my xeroscape. no kiddin' i've found a pair of handcuffs, many empty iced tea cans, pack of smokes and a pot pipe among other things.....Ggrrrr..

  15. We used to walk to school in New Zealand. Except when it snowed, then my brother and I would ride a toboggan down the hill

  17. I can tell I';m getting older when I don't understand the way kids are dressing and what they're doing with their hair. And I thought I would never reach that point. I believed cool would last forever. :)

  20. Andy - that made me think of this crazy lady bus driver we had in junior high who would drive like a bat out of hell. One day, it bit her (and us kids) in the butt when she ran into car. It was very scary! The teenager in the car was seriously hurt, but luckily us kids were okay.

  21. B...I did too except when we had to wait for it in the frigid weather (I grew up in PA). I can't imagine how you dealt with it up in Canada!
